The way we prepare the same set of ingredients can often make or break a dish. In this workshop, chef Priyasha, founder, The Cinnamon Kitchen, will be teaching you how to make healthy and delicious vegan meals. The way she prepares ingredients has been monumental in her PCOS journey and has helped her eat delicious but healthy food.

All these recipes are also vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free.


The recipes covered are:


Mushroom and Lentil Patties

These patties have an umami flavour, a crisp exterior and juicy interior. They're perfect for wraps, burgers and even with salad in a bowl. These are oil free, vegan and gluten free but not mushy at all like most vegan patties. You will also learn a base recipe that will enable you to make any and all veggie patties.


Bean Dip

Learn to make literally THE BEST BEAN DIP EVER, vegan or not! Chef will be making the dip using butter beans and the same recipe can be adapted to make any bean dip at all!


Flax and Sesame Crackers

These crackers are flourless, vegan and gluten free and go very well with any dips, on cheeseboards and even by themselves.


Oat Crackers/Flatbread

These can be made as crackers or flatbread with toppings such as basil, tomato and avocado. Chef will be covering both cracker and flatbread method. You can also modify this recipe to make a pizza base!


Savoury Trail Mix

This perfect on the go snack is an umami bomb! Chef will be covering technique for making any savoury trail mix and teaching the recipe for a Japanese inspired trail mix
